GardaWorld – staffing services is recruiting a Bilingual Data Entry Clerk for one of its clients located in the geographical area of Toronto.

 

Client Info:

Our client, an established financial institution is seeking an experienced  Bilingual Data Entry Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the managers on various matters within the operations department. The role will consist of the following functions;

 

Functions:

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • Type in data provided directly from customers
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirement

  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimun 1 year of banking or financial industry operations experience
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
  • Advanced MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel and SQL
  • Bilingual (Must)
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment
  • Driven individual with strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience in data integration of disparate data sources
  • Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge
